What if it rains on the day of your event, April 6, 2025?
The event will be held rain or shine.
How hard is the walk? Is there a map?

Can I bring my dog?
Well-behaved, leashed, and child-friendly dogs are welcome, but you are fully responsible for your dog’s behavior and cleaning up after them.
Where do I park?
You can park in the Civic Center lot and Vista Library lot.
Are there any bonuses for arriving early?
Yes! The first 100 walkers to check in will receive an Autism Beaded Bracelet. Also Handel’s Ice Cream and Raising Cane coupons will be given to first 60 adults checking in.
I plan to pay and register at the event. What types of payments do you take?
We can take cash, checks, and credit cards at the event.
I pre-registered. What do I need to do at check-in?
Just tell us your name, sign a waiver, and collect your raffle ticket. If you are one of the first to arrive or paid more than $50, you will get some additional goodies.
Will there be food?
We will have bottles of water at no charge. There will be no food sales at the event, so please plan accordingly.
Where are the restrooms?
Restrooms are located in the rear building with an outside entrance.
They will be marked.
What do I need to bring with me to the walk?
Weather-appropriate clothing and supplies such as hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, or an umbrella. Cash for registration, raffle tickets, and merchandise purchases as not all vendors take credit cards. If you prefer, you can bring your own water in a reusable container.
I hear you will be raffling prizes. How can I win?
Each registered walker, including virtual walkers, will receive one raffle ticket as part of their entry fee. You can purchase additional raffle tickets onsite. We’ll be taking payment via cash, checks, and credit cards at the event. It’s all for a great cause! Check Prize Board after you finish the walk.
Are there any raffle rules?
You do not have to be present to win. If you leave before the raffle is held, we will contact you by phone or email if you are a winner. It’s all part of our sensory-friendly experience!
I can’t make it but I want to support the event. How can I do that?
You can register as a virtual walker or make a donation. Visit https://vistawalkforautism.org/ to pay online.
I want to share feedback about the event. How do I do that?
We will be sending out a survey after the event.
I want to support the exhibitors, sponsors, and raffle prize donors. How can I do that?
